Open Git Settings fails after initializing Git repository from Share Collection modal #8066

I have checked the following:

  • I have searched existing issues and found nothing related to my issue.

This bug is:

  • making Bruno unusable for me
  • slowing me down but I'm able to continue working
  • annoying
  • this feature was working in a previous version but is broken in the current release.

Describe the bug

Description

When need share a collections, modal appear.
However, when clicking Open Git Settings, an error toast appears:

fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

The repository appears to be initialized successfully, but Bruno does not recognize the collection folder as a Git repository when opening Git settings.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a collection in Bruno.
  2. Go to Share Collection.

Expected behavior

Bruno should open the Git settings for the current collection without showing an error.

Actual behavior

Bruno displays the following error:

fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git
