Compilation fails CachyOS bleeding edge GCC16

"Compilation fails on GCC 16 due to naming conflict with the SPLIT intrinsic in lib/jplsubs.f. Renaming this subroutine to something unique or using EXTERNAL declarations fixes the build. Also, several CMake policies (CMP0153, CMP0167) need updating for modern build environments."

After correcting it, it did compile beautifully on CachyOS

thanks a lot for reporting, i'm currently using cachyOS for development but i didn't have that issue. I'll investigate further and i'll correct the issue, thanks again!
