Packer Build Intermittently Erroring

I am using Packer along with the vSphere plugin to build VM's in my production environment however I have intermittent errors where a VM build will just fail saying that the session is not authenticated. I have no issues in my test or homelab environment but I am not sure what exactly could be causing this.

I have attached a screenshot for you to see what happens. This could happen at any point in the build. It could be at the start, middle, or end and can happen after any provisioner step.

I'm at a loss with this. Has anyone seen this issue before?

Hi @bapesta786 👋🏻 - were you by change able to find a resolution for this issue in your environment or does it still persist?

Hey, it still exists unfortunately and I wasn't able to find a solution. I tried vSAN datastores, local host datastores, pointing the build to a vCenter, pointing the build to an ESXi host. Nothing helped.

I see that you're using v2.1.2 (March `26). Have you by chance retried this on v2.5.0 (latest)?

Are there any additional environmental details that you can share or a MRE to attempt a reproduction?
