Support for FreeBSD

Dear all,

I worked the last days on a port for FreeBSD so users can easily install vp using pkg install vite-plus.
I have a the ports building fine, but some patches needed to be applied.

Is the project open so I can create a pull request to get that patches included here upstream?

I yes I would prepare a pull request and would link it to this issue.

Thanks for bringing this up! Rolldown already provides a prebuilt binary for FreeBSD x64 as an experimental platform, so I think it makes sense for Vite+ to support it as well.

Contributions to add FreeBSD support are welcome!

I have it already implemented, currently porting the changes I did to match the main branch.
Maybe you wait a little bit till my pull request is ready.

There will be more then enough work left for you ;)
My patch is adding a no-op backend for FreeBSD. My target was only to get vp to compile on FreeBSD:

and that vp build works for a project I maintain in the FreeBSD ports which switch from npm to vp.
