Enabling persistance through the firestore settings

Hello,

I want tot enable offline caching, until version 8 of the SDK this could be done by:

firestore.enableIndexedDbPersistence(db)

However, this method is deprecated and according to the docs on the link below it is now necessary to call an enablePersistance method and pass a localCache option to the Firestore options.

I cannot find a way to get this working, can someone point me in the right direction?
