3. Having an open-source way to detect cheaters is a huge step forward to preventing cheating. I hope that an end goal for WALDO is something that can run locally and process data efficiently to replace proprietary anti-cheat that in the best case can only prevent some cheating and worst case tanks performance.

I have no experience with AI/ML but I could put energy into researching it if I need to. I'm commonly known in modding communities - most notably BeatSaber - for multiplayer/networking stuffs. I am good with infrastructure (docker, servers, linux, etc.) and mostly think of myself as a backend focused programmer. I absolutely hate writing frontend code.

Why do you want to contribute to this project?

Although the major point of interest involves videogames, I can see the various other forms of application to detect the misuse of AI such as that seen in "deep fakes". The R&D done here could be built upon to help alleviate future problems whenever they arise because there are more incentives for people to use AI maliciously than there are to use AI beneficially.

15 years of programming experience, primarily PHP/Java but also some Python Skills (also very interested in AI here)

Why do you want to contribute to this project?
Well, played an old 2000's 3d shooter recently. As you may already guessed, anti cheat is not very common here but even if, its too complicated to install or too easy to bypass. Fun for 50 players is immediately gone after one aimbot using player enters the game. Very frustrating. So, visual cheat detection sounds very interesting to me. Let's bust unfair players!
