Waveshare compare General Driver with ROS Driver? #2

You said that "this is a lower computer example for the UGV robots with ROS Driver: UGV Rover, UGV Beast, RaspRover, UGV02" and that the old version of UGV02 is driven by General Driver."

What is the exact difference between the ROS Driver and the General Driver? I can only find info about the general driver.

  1. Interfaces for motors: General Driver has 4 for 2-Pin motors and 2 for the motor with encoder, while Ros Driver has 4 for the motor with encoder and 4 for led light.
  2. IMU: General Driver uses QMI8658 and AK09918, while Ros Driver uses ICM20948.

The ros driver is not on the website yet, it is installed on ros kit robot, we will put it on website later.
