How to Identify Payment Method Used in Braintree Transactions for Orders

The Braintree gateway may offer multiple payment methods, depending on your account setup - card, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.

Is there a straightforward way to see the payment method used for an order?

So far the only way I've found is to check the transaction response for the element paymentInstrumentType.
