Describe the Bug

When starting labelMe, the following error occurs:

Expected Behavior

The application should start.

To Reproduce

The issue occurs with labelMe 5.6.0 or newer. Neither command line nor .exe works.

Steps:

> python -m venv venv
> .\venv\Scripts\Activate.ps1
> pip install labelme
> labelme

找到venv\lib\site-packages\labelme\ai\text_to_annotation.py

from typing import List, Tuple
替换 tuple[...] 为 Tuple[...]:
函数返回类型注解中的 tuple 改为 Tuple。
替换 list[...] 为 List[...]:
参数和返回类型中的 list 改为 List,变量类型注解(如 shapes: list[dict])也需要修改。

Thanks, that seems to be the problem.

Is it possible to remove the py38-Wheel from pypi? Because everytime I run
pip install labelme
it will try to install version 5.6.1, and I would have to edit text_to_annotation.py manually. Pip should install version 5.5.0, which is the latest that works with Python<=3.8
