Support glyphs in character compositions #924

What are you trying to do that you can't?
Custom characters can currently include pixels and shapes. That's a fairly limited palette, and ironically doesn't include text of any kind, even though things like emojis sometimes include some typographic content.
What is your idea?
Support the inclusion of single glyph text shapes at arbitrary rotations, scales, fonts, and scales. This would allow intricate typographic compositions to be rendered as a single custom character.
