Layout description unclear #931

What are you trying to do that you can't?
The icon proposed in issues #368 and #810 to describe tiling behaviour is unclear.

The two blocks side by side, when you hover over them say 'two' to indicate that a screen of this size supports two blocks. However, the word 'two' is ambiguous. There is further description of the layout in the settings in layout:
What is your idea?
Perhaps it would be more clear if, when you hover over the icon, it says "two tiles" or "two tiles (see layout in settings" or anything that is more descriptive than "two". Since it's not a button, perhaps we could move it from its current position to the footer.
