Hi all,
We want to thank @zalexdev for creating his PoC of our attack on such short notice and for being as true to the original attack as possible. We appreciate the help to make the community safer.
We want to highlight that our official attack implementation and vulnerability verification tool is now finally live, and we're very glad to share that the official WhisperPair testing harness is now publicly available: https://github.com/KULeuven-COSIC/WhisperPair
We had to work through a number of legal and ethical considerations before releasing the tool.
You are welcome to use it for defensive research and authorised testing. If you find it useful, feel free to star the repository, open issues, submit pull requests, or contribute improvements.
If you discover additional devices that are vulnerable, we would greatly appreciate it if you could open an issue so we can include them in our evaluation and update the repository accordingly.
Thanks again for your patience.
Best regards,
Dr. Sayon Duttagupta
