I have run a 3 monitor setup for a while. It was main left monitor LG 32", center monitor 2 LG 32" and right monitor 3 ASUS 27" all at 2560x1440 res.
For whatever reason, conky sees my main monitor as monitor 3, my center as 2 and my right as 1. When I used xinerama_head = 1, and xinerama_head = 2, the conkys wouild go where intended and stay there.
A few months ago I upgraded my ASUS 27" to a 3rd matching LG 32" monitor 3 and ever since I have done this, when the system sits idle for a while, all conkys from monitors 2 and 3 (xinerama_heads 2 & 1 respectively) jump to the main monitor and pile up in the top_right corner.
Has this been previously reported? I can't stand it that everything was fine and a simple monitor upgrade causes this inconvenience. My resolutions are still all 2560x1440.
Can anyone advise of a solution other than downgrading back to the ASUS 27"?
Thank you for reading,
Logan
