zigbee2mqtt keeps crashing #729
Comments
Started seeing this happen frequently too the last day or so....not long after upgrading to the 2025.2.x core....the logs show nothing, as it just stops...only normal activity then nothing. the broker shows that z2m just closed the connection. Enabled watchdog, and it does restart things ok....seems to crash every 30 minutes or so according to the broker logs. |
Just realized I was having the same issue. I updated to 2025.2.4 earlier today, from .1. I'll enable Watchdog as well and hope one or the other gets updated to fix this soon. Not bad enough to attempt a downgrade at this point. |
Agree...the watchdog is keeping it going good enough so the devices keep doing what they are suppose to do when I need them. |
On mine setup, watchdog sadly give up after a period of time.

my zigbee2mqtt keeps crashing as well all of a sudden after it worked fine for a while. after crashing cpu usage goes through the roof Any ideas? |
Can someone help me? I have enabled watchdog in the settings, but get the log: |
@ibaxx it seems it cannot communicate with your adapter, can you try with https://github.com/Koenkk/Z-Stack-firmware/tree/Z-Stack_3.x.0_coordinator_20221226/coordinator/Z-Stack_3.x.0/bin |
@Koenkk before updating zigbee2mqtt it works without problems I have bought a conbee stick... with this the add-in is working again. |
