This page documents the various roles that are used for the Atoll project.
Role | Description |
---|---|
PO | The Product Owner role represents what a typical PO would do using Atoll. |
Developer | The Developer role represents what a typical Developer would do USING Atoll. |
Developer using VS Code | The Developer role in a specific context- i.e. using the VS Code extension. |
Contributor | The Contributor role represents Atoll Software/QA Engineers working with the Atoll code. |
ScrumMaster | Self-explanatory based on the above. |
Tester | This is a general term to represent QA Engineers broadly. |
Administrator | A user who is responsible for managing the Atoll system. [1] |
Support Engineer | A user who is responsible for monitoring/maintaining the Atoll system. [1] |
Devops Engineer | A user who is responsible for setting up the Atoll system. [1] |
Manager | A manager who is responsible for team members in other roles. |
User | A general "catch all" role when any user would be interested in this functionality. |
[1] In some orgs this will be the same person, but it all depends on the size of the company and how they choose to host and maintain Atoll.
