This page documents the various roles that are used for the Atoll project.

Role Description
PO The Product Owner role represents what a typical PO would do using Atoll.
Developer The Developer role represents what a typical Developer would do USING Atoll.
Developer using VS Code The Developer role in a specific context- i.e. using the VS Code extension.
Contributor The Contributor role represents Atoll Software/QA Engineers working with the Atoll code.
ScrumMaster Self-explanatory based on the above.
Tester This is a general term to represent QA Engineers broadly.
Administrator A user who is responsible for managing the Atoll system. [1]
Support Engineer A user who is responsible for monitoring/maintaining the Atoll system. [1]
Devops Engineer A user who is responsible for setting up the Atoll system. [1]
Manager A manager who is responsible for team members in other roles.
User A general "catch all" role when any user would be interested in this functionality.

[1] In some orgs this will be the same person, but it all depends on the size of the company and how they choose to host and maintain Atoll.
