Why / Balance
Armor plates absorb damage types and can convert that to stamina damage. Effectively reduces time to kill a little bit through the creation of a temporary layer of protection that has durability and can be destroyed (but replaced)
Technical details
Entirely new systems, adds a few flags to existing damage components to check for the origin of the damage and whatnot.

Get clothing that has a compatible storage (typically hardsuits and certain EVAs), add an armor plate to its internal storage.
