It's counter intuitive to have a weapon like this do mostly stamina damage, it doesn't accomplish much because anyone wanting to stun someone is going to use a baton, while anyone trying to crit someone will be using something else. |

42 is still a lot of blunt when taking into account e.g. species specific melee buffs. |

I'd recommend making a thread about this as there are a lot of weapons that are also far up in the list of damage. About a few months ago they pushed an update that nearly doubled melee damage, but I'm not sure how the directors feel about this nowadays. Worth asking. |

@DevArchwave keep in mind the truncheon ALSO does high stam damage right now - two hits to stamcrit Also, I ran some tests - you can gib someone in 7-8 hits with this, which... is probably not great for a weapon that's intended (at least by meta, perhaps not by intention though!) to be wideswung and hit multiple targets at once? |

About the PR
Makes the truncheon do 40 stamina damage and 18 blunt, making it a viable slightly-lethal sidegrade to the stun baton.
Why / Balance
Holy shit this should not do 54 blunt.
