How are CSS Grid & Flexbox similar They both have the capacity to create containers that hold boxes. They both create boxes based on what elements are the direct descendants of the designated container.
Give one example where you choose Flexbox over Grid I chose Flexbox for a majority of my project, mainly because there weren't really any columns in the layout of the web page that spanned across multiple sections. One of the sections that Flexbox made the most sense for was definitely the sponsor section of the page, since the boxes were all different sizes and they were all spread out evenly.
Where did you choose to use CSS Grid and why did you make that decision I chose to use it in the navigation section of the page, mainly because that was the only section where it seemed like it made more senes than using Flexbox. The layout of the columns seemed more grid like, but honestly I probably would have used Flexbox for the entire project if using both hadn't been a requirement.
What was the hardest part of this assignment, and why was it difficult Wrapping my head around when to use a grid vs. a Flexbox & also figuring out how to nest Flexboxes and move the text/images around within the Flexboxes the way I wanted them to move.
What concept did you get the most clarity on through Startrly? That CSS is HARD! lol. I feel like I have a way better understanding of when and how to use Flexboxes and grids in general. I definitely feel like I need WAY more practice though.
