EduConnect: A Collaborative Learning Platform

EduConnect is an Android-based digital space designed to bridge the communication gap between students and teachers. It provides a centralized platform for academic doubt management and community-driven knowledge sharing.

🚀 Project Overview

Students often struggle to clarify doubts outside the classroom due to a lack of interactive communication tools. EduConnect aims to:

  • Bridge the Gap: Provide a digital space for seamless teacher-student interaction.

  • Promote Collaboration: Foster an environment where students learn from both educators and peers.

  • Increase Efficiency: Accelerate learning by providing timely responses to academic queries.

✨ Features

  • Doubt Posting: Students can easily post academic questions in a centralized feed.

  • Teacher Engagement: Teachers can provide detailed replies and use reactions to motivate students.

  • Peer Interaction: Students can view, like, and save their peers' posts for future reference.

  • User Management: Includes secure Login, Signup, and Password Recovery.

🛠️ Tech Stack

  • Language: Java — Handles business logic, event handling, and app workflow.

  • UI Design: XML — Defines the structure, styling, and responsiveness of the layout.

  • Backend: Firebase — Used for real-time data storage (Firestore), authentication, and notifications.
