These Grafana dashboards needed fixes in order to work in the latest versions of Grafana.

Changes:

  • Fixed variable syntax, from [[cluster]] to $cluster
  • Fixed templated variables config format
  • Removed references to a hard-coded uid:PROMETHEUS datasource

Examples of working dashboards after these changes:

It's frustrating to see that the monitoring guidance is still incomplete. Nearly a year ago, a community contributor took the time to update the examples that are referenced in the documentation, but this PR still hasn't been merged. This leaves users without proper monitoring resources and creates a poor experience when trying to implement monitoring solutions.
