Frogbot v2 Release 2.0b1
The first “real release” of the v2 resurrected QuakeC-based Frogbot.
Bot support built-in for 96 unique maps and 7 aliases.
Compared to the last known QuakeC-based Frogbot build:
- Restores the ancient waypoint tool to a multitude of its former glory, with a ridiculously detailed guide on how to make new waypoints.
- Restores NetQuake support. It's not perfect yet by any means, there are bugs, but is quite playable. Enjoy multiplayer Quake mayhem like it's 1997.
- Makes the bots way more capable. They can play
e1m1, e1m4, hohoho2, …with all bells and whistles now. See READMEs for details. - Waypoints can be embedded in
.entfiles or even in.bspbuilds to avoid needing to rebuild the progs. - Fewer total maps supported than previously, but the included existing waypoints have been improved (sometimes vastly), and new ones have been created from scratch, or ported from KTX and random other places. More will follow.
