I'm a bit nervous about this one, as the current easyconfig approach cannot be used with RISC-V (which would require a from-source build via npm).

I guess it is ok for 2023.06 but the binaries are not using the EESSI runtime loader (specifically /home/ocaisa/eessi/versions/2023.06/software/linux/x86_64/intel/icelake/software/code-server/4.100.2/lib/node).

EDIT:

Interestingly in $EBROOTCODEMINSERVER/lib/vscode/bin/code-server-oss there is exactly a fix for the linker issue (as well as some advice for patchelf usage).

The following seems to work just fine:

patchelf --set-interpreter /cvmfs/software.eessi.io/versions/2023.06/compat/linux/x86_64/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 $EBROOTCODEMINSERVER/lib/node

@ocaisa We could tackle the patchelf through an EasyBuild hook?
