On version 6.2 (and it's betas), you can just add the dll to the Extensions Folder

Put the name of the DLL attached here (GroupIDFilter.dll) in a new line on your absolutedlls file in your Geometry Dash folder after opening it in notepad. Then drag the dll into your Geometry Dash folder
