Here is a module for the Orange Pi Zero 3. It's based off the existing blank front plate. I integrated an existing model for a simplified vertical mount from this model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6238605/files (credit @codedword via thingiverse).

I'm uploading a draft version of this in case anyone finds it useful. I noticed on other PRs you are redoing the model so I didn't want to spend too much time perfecting it if that's the case, as it's working very well for me now.

I tried to keep this as simple and idiomatic as possible, with respect to existing modules.

Remaining details that would be nice to polish:

  • try and get the board a little further towards the opening. This is much harder than a raspberry pi b/c the peripherals don't hang over the board
  • give 1-2mm more clearance for usb-a
  • improve mounting

btw, if this is possibly going to be merged, I'd like to add the creative commons attribution in the commit message. I was doing everything from the dashboard in a hurry. I'm not familiar with what else is needed for licensing attribution.

Hi @creichert! I don't typically merge third-party designs unless I can include the CAD for them, and I have a set of standards that I follow for the project to keep everything uniform that would need to be adhered to for any included CAD included. If you're interested in doing that, please let me know!

Also, I'm happy to keep the PR here for users to find the model, but I do need to find a good method of adding/including third-party designs that people create (with their preferred license model). I'll look into some options!

No problem. It's just a tinkercad project I whipped up using the existing model in this repo. Happy to share it but doubt I can bring the project to strict standards as I'm just a novice.

The PR is good enough as it was where I searched first when looking for an existing model.
