β¨ Designing technology to serve people β empowering learning, well-being, and storytelling
I'm a Ph.D. student in the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at Santa Clara University, advised by Prof. Kai Lukoff. My research lies at the intersection of interactive technology and human-centered design β with a focus on:
- πΆοΈ Context-aware Augmented Reality for education & cultural storytelling
- π€ AI-in-the-loop Adaptive Interfaces for personalized user experiences
- π± Digital Well-being tools for focus & mindful technology use
Previously, I worked as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Microsoft and interned at Amazon Web Services. My industry experience drives my passion for building systems that bridge technology and human needs.
- π FocusMode: Chrome Extension to support distraction-free web browsing
- β¨ ThΓ‘mien Ohlone AR Tour: Location-based AR storytelling app to share Indigenous Ohlone history at SCU
- 𧩠Adaptive UI Experiments: Exploring context-aware interface prototypes for personalized learning & well-being
"Technology should serve people first."
I'm passionate about designing meaningful systems that spark reflection, empower learning, and create positive impact β blending technology, anthropology, and art.
I keep a "white-belt mentality" β always learning from everyone, everywhere.
Currently exploring AR+AI for adaptive education and digital well-being.
