Adds a ctxd MCP guide for native Linux LibreChat installations, plus its index card and sidebar entries. ctxd keeps source context synchronized and gives agents tools to inspect paths and read that content. Why ctxd explains the approach; the open-source project includes installation and setup instructions.

The guide covers Docker stdio configuration, path discovery, reading source content after edits, and checking removals. The source mount is read-only and the adapter is pinned to a commit.

Validation:

  • Loaded the guide's YAML into LibreChat's actual MCPConnection from v0.8.9-rc1 (@librechat/api 1.7.55). Verified discovery, six working tools, changed content after synchronization, and removal. The guide excludes the advertised grep tool because it fails in ctxd 0.1.16.
  • pnpm lint, pnpm typecheck, pnpm lint:prettier, pnpm check:locale-meta, pnpm check:config-version, and the full documentation build passed. Final wording also passed targeted MDX compilation and lint.
  • Confirmed the MCP Settings and Agent Builder instructions against the current official MCP documentation.
  • Rendered-page HTTP preview passed using the production build. Development mode exhausted its default 8 GB heap; a bounded higher-heap attempt did not finish.

The runtime test exercised the MCP connection directly. It did not exercise the full LibreChat application UI or model tool selection.
