The Health app integration sucks and is ridiculously slow to sync #9

Description

@FacuM

My initial expectation was that the cloud sync would work better.

Several users have already pointed out that it takes a really long time (sometimes more than a day) for the cloud sync to complete a round-trip (from Health -> cloud and then from cloud -> Health+). Cloud syncs may be partial or collide with Health+'s data and reject part of the data and it's all a huge mess.

I'm really sorry about this and I know it's quite unfortunate if you expected Health+ to work super reliably.

I'm writing this issue to document the problem and also to align with user's expectations about the current usability of this patch.

Please stay tuned for an improved version, I'm gonna be working on that in the meantime.

    Hi FacuM, follow-up from the user who reported #19 (Galaxy S26 Ultra / Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025). Good news: after re-running the LibreWrist patcher, the patched Samsung Health+ now successfully signs in and restores historical data from Samsung Cloud. However, fresh data (especially today's steps and daily activity) remains at 0 in Health+, while the official Samsung Health app is correctly receiving and displaying live watch data. The user has already manually triggered Samsung Cloud sync in the official app. Both official Samsung Health and patched Health+ are installed on the phone. We understand from this issue that cloud round-trips can take >24 hours or be incomplete. Is there any supported way to improve/reliably trigger the official Health -> cloud -> Health+ sync, or any upcoming patch/workaround? Should the official Health app remain enabled alongside Health+ (as currently configured)? Thanks for your work!

    Oh crap, I totally forgot to reply this one! Hey, that's amazing!

    About Health+: no, currently, that's all we can do, unfortunately, but I'll be working on improving it and posting updates within this issue, so please stick around for news!

    Hi FacuM, thank you very much for your reply and for all the work you've put into LibreWrist! I wanted to let you know that I've since replaced my imported Galaxy Watch Ultra with a French-market model, so I no longer need the LibreWrist workaround. My personal issue #19 is already closed, and there's no further follow-up needed from my side. I appreciate your help and wish you all the best with the project!
