MAGLab Website

This is the MAGLab website source code and a work in progress.

Also, the readme is a work in progress.

Development Setup

Prerequisites

• Docker

docker build -t maglaboratory/website .
docker run -p 8000:80 -v $(pwd):/website --name website --rm maglaboratory/website

Visit the home page at http://localhost:8000

The view compiler's dependencies in src/vendor are not committed. Install them before the first rebuild, and again whenever src/composer.lock changes:

docker run -v $(pwd):/website --rm -w /website/src -u $(id -u):$(id -g) -e COMPOSER_HOME=/tmp/composer maglaboratory/website composer install

Running as your own user keeps src/vendor owned by you rather than root. Patches to dependencies live in src/patches and are applied automatically by composer install.

To rebuild the site, run

docker run -v $(pwd):/website --rm maglaboratory/website php -f src/compile.php

Sensor Migration Notes

1. Add a new sensor in the haldor table where the name is what the sensor name should be
2. Change the old sensor name to the new sensor name using the "UPDATE" query
3. Remove the old sensor name from the sensor name enumeration
