The preface

Good afternoon, my name is Feline and its my first PR on this server. I apologize in advance for any possible illiteracy, this is not my native language. I have been working on code in Byond for several years, before here I worked with the TG fork and CM fork. I've been playing on your server for some time now and decided to bring in some of my old practices and innovations. I had a short conversation with SirNightKnight and he encouraged me. But before fully entering the water, first I want to touch the temperature of the water in the team and evaluate how you meet new coders. Soooo...

Description

I've added some new T2 tools and mechanics:

  • Biocorrector - a new T2 medical instrument. It combines a bonesetter, a blood filter and, as a bonus, can synthesize bone gel (only during surgery, in fact, it simply replaces this step by itslef). In addition, a bug has been fixed that the omni tool could not filter blood. It is being studied along with the rest of the T2 instruments, and requires rare earth materials for production. Available from the round start to the Chief Medical and ERT

  • The Ambu Bag - a new medical device that allows pumping out patients with oxygen starvation. A professional approach instead of an ineffective field CPR. It is present in the inventory of doctors, lockers, trays and the medical cyborg from the roundstart. It can be produced in a fabricator, requires T1 biotechnology, and among other things requires plastic for production.

  • Remote Health Analyzer - an extension of the mechanics of the Health Analyzer. It allows you to scan health from a screen distance - it will greatly help doctors not to run like crazy after a patient in an attempt to scan him... What a pain... There is a graphical and audible indication. The technology node is version 1.5 between the regular Analyzer and the Advanced Analyzer. It not available for production, it is a starting bonus for professional doctors and medical cyborgs. But you can buy it at a vending machine for money. From now the Advanced Health Analyzer has a remote scanning function by default.

  • Tricorder - a new T2 engineering tool (the basis is not mine, but I expanded the mechanics, like x3). The eponymous item from the Star Trek universe that could scan EVERYTHING. By default, it combines a Multitool and a Gas Analyzer, and can roughly scan people's health and radioactive contamination. It has a special function - it can expand its own functionality by removing suitable sensors from the donor, while the donor is destroyed. It is being studied along with the rest of the T2 instruments, and requires rare earth materials for production. Available from the round start to the Chief Engi (replace the multitool and gas analyzer)

    • Improvements:
      • Health Analyzer - Approximate health analysis becomes a full-fledged T1 medical scanner (health, chemistry). This improvement does not depend on the quality of the donor, an Advanced Analyzer will still transmit first-level sensors.
      • Chemical Analyzer - the ability to determine the composition of chemicals in a container. The description is only brief, without a database of chemicals available to the Donor.
      • Remote Gas Analyzer - adds the ability to remotely scan the air in the same way as a Donor (and it so happens that chemicals too, why not? (but not health!)) Graphic and audio indications are added (I can add one to the Remote Gas Analyzer itself).
      • I can also add a Botany Analyzer, Nanites, Genetics, and any others - it's generally not difficult, but I dont think it realy needed for now.

Testing

  • All mechanics have been checked, no problems have been identified, and what is identified is considered to be features...

  • Also, during the testing process, the following errors were identified, but they were found to be unrelated to the topic:

for the dmi file unmodularize it so it's out of the monkestation folder and somewhere in the icon folder

Everything about this yes. This is an amazing thing for any breathless doctors and the combined bonesetter blood filter is something I saw in another codebase I once had intended to bounty in. Thank you for making this.

This is an interesting PR, and i'm excited to check it out when it gets testmerged.

Some parts ive noticed on a quick look myself, i could probably also do another pass on more of the text if you want

The MODsuit health analyzers are already long-ranged, having a handheld version would make them even more useless. Other than that this looks sick (positive)
