I still don't know why the bot is suggesting modularity. This already is fully modular. |

Picking Through The Ashes
I suddenly remembered that this codebase existed while recycling my old code for a different server. While a fair amount of this is being repurposed, I think it's a shame that the majority of it will be discarded, as I do distinctly remember people reacting positively to the mechanical aspects of the code.
So, I think I will "finish" the code for good and gift it to this server. I'll be removing the majority of the one-off event code and some related code, renaming files, and maybe creating ruins and such for the old content to live in. This will probably include the T5 parts, the structures, some items, and the material / chemistry code.
This is most likely not goodbye forever. I'll probably return someday, under very particular conditions. In the meantime, I'll see you around.
The Shattering
Something happened on the other end. Something catastrophic enough to overload or otherwise damage the red AI's esoteric hardware enough that it critically failed. It didn't just fail, it erased almost all traces of the being's incursion into reality. With memories fractured and the contents of their technology smeared across time and space itself, it was like they were never there to begin with.
However, such a disaster doesn't leave nothing behind. Chunks of now dormant technology has essentially been copied and scattered across a wide area, appearing and disappearing almost arbitrarily. It seems as though that the shattering of reality has propagated pieces of the largest of the vessels through time.
While the continued existence of these points of interest are fleeting, particularly intrepid people may seek to salvage now forgotten remnants and... remember.
