Work in progress — not ready to merge.
The current numbered Python files establish the 01–09 taxonomy and executable entry points, but they do not yet constitute faithful recreations of the R vignettes. They are presently too abbreviated: several examples touch the same APIs without reproducing the R vignette's demonstrations, datasets, plots, intermediate outputs, diagnostics, and interpretation.
Required completion standard
Each numbered Python vignette must be ported section-by-section from its corresponding R source and
