Dependabot auto-applies major/minor/patch labels to PRs based on the detected semver bump whenever those labels exist in the repo, even when dependabot.yml's labels: list says otherwise. That caused dependency PRs to inherit the wrong version-bump label, which would have propagated incorrectly through the deploy.yml release logic. - dependabot.yml: set labels: [] to suppress all default labelling. - dependabot-auto-label.yml (new): apply only `patch` to PRs opened by dependabot[bot]. Uses pull_request_target so the label can be written without enabling repo-wide write permissions for forks. - deploy-develop.yml: include `labeled` in the trigger types so the Check for Version Label step re-runs once the auto-label workflow attaches the patch label, avoiding the open-event race.
