I like the idea of making this an optional dependency. However, it seems like we are running into some python versioning issues (I just specify python ^3.10). In any event, we are installing passagemath-standard in the codespace for PreTeXt. Anyone not using that and wanting sage should be able to figure this out (or use a different sage setup). |
