Reporting a Vulnerability

If you discover a security vulnerability in a project maintained by the SUNY Brockport ACM Student Chapter, please report it responsibly:

  1. Do not open a public issue for security vulnerabilities.
  2. Report the issue privately by contacting the chapter through SUNY Brockport's official ACM chapter channels, or by using GitHub's private vulnerability reporting feature on the affected repository, if enabled.
  3. Include as much detail as possible: steps to reproduce, potential impact, and any suggested fixes.

We will acknowledge your report as soon as possible and work with you to understand and address the issue.

Supported Versions

As a student organization, we generally support only the latest version of each project. Please ensure you are using the most up-to-date release before reporting a vulnerability.
