Tizen development skills and plugins for AI coding agents.

tizen-agent-skills is Samsung's open-source collection of agent skills and plugins that bring the Tizen platform development environment to AI coding assistants. Each plugin in this repository covers one area of Tizen development and can be installed on its own. The first plugin, tizen-sdk-skills, lets your agent install the Tizen SDK, create and build Tizen Web (.wgt), Native (.tpk), .NET, RPK and RPM packages, run Tizen and Samsung TV emulators, manage devices over sdb, sign packages, debug remotely and analyse dlog output from a plain English or Korean request.

Plugins in this repository

Each top-level directory is one independently versioned plugin with its own README, changelog and release tags (<plugin>-vX.Y.Z). More plugins for the Tizen platform will be added over time.

Plugin What it does Hosts Version Install & docs
tizen-sdk-skills/ Automates the Tizen SDK end to end: SDK install, project creation, build, emulator and device management, app install, remote debugging (GDB / netcoredbg / CDP), certificates, dlog analysis, Playwright testing. 29 skills, 24 agents, a standalone tizen-sdk CLI and the Tizen AI Extension for VS Code. Quick Start

Prerequisites: Node.js 20+ and Git.

  1. Clone the repository.

    git clone https://github.com/Samsung/tizen-agent-skills.git
  2. Open the directory of the plugin you want and follow its Quick Start. Every plugin ships a setup script per host (claude/, cline/, codex/, ...) that installs its skills, agents and hooks for that host.

  3. Restart your AI coding assistant and describe what you want in natural language.

For tizen-sdk-skills start with the tizen-sdk-skills Quick Start; the first request to make is "Install the Tizen SDK".

Featured plugin: tizen-action-skills

tizen-action-skills brings the Tizen Action Framework to AI coding agents. The Action Framework is the mechanism that lets an on-device AI Agent use an app's capabilities. This plugin walks your agent through the entire Action Provider development flow — from picking a default Action category (or authoring a custom one) to generating stubs, implementing, registering and verifying the provider on a device.

Area Details
Action categories Picks a default Action Category (e.g. Tizen.Action.Browser) or authors a custom .action/.entity schema, including subscription actions
Stub generation Generates provider stubs with actionc for C#, C++, JavaScript or Flutter-Tizen/Dart (TIDL protocol 3)
Provider implementation & registration Implements the provider interface and registers provider metadata so the on-device Agent can discover and invoke it
Verification Verifies the provider on a device with action-tool
Toolchain checks Validates the Tizen Action Toolchain (actionc, action2tidl, tidlc) and ACTIONC_DATA_DIR setup via scripts/check_toolchain_env.sh — never installs anything itself

Requirements: Tizen Action Framework with TIDL protocol 3 on the device (tizen-action 1.4+; subscription actions need 1.6), the Tizen Action Toolchain from tools/action-toolchain in the platform/core/appfw/tidl repository, and Bash 4+ (PowerShell for the Windows check scripts).

Details, the bundled scripts and commonly missed rules are in the plugin's README and skill README.
