Releases: Silarn/EDMC-NavRoute
Release 1.3.0 - Indicators, Distances, and More
This is a fairly significant release that includes the addition of indicators for systems on the route, distance calculations, and additional information.
Indicators
With this release, when the star class is enabled you can also enable extra indicators related to the star class. The ⛽ symbol indicates systems with a scoopable main star. The ⚡ symbol paired with ×4 or another similar multiplier indicates a white dwarf or neutron star boost. The multiplier is Mk II FSD aware.
Distances
The display can now show the distances between each jump. It will also show your overall distance progress (remaining / total ly) as well as the straight-line distance and route efficiency statistics.
Release 1.2.6 - EDMC 6 Compatibility
Small change to update deprecated functions breaking the plugin on EDMC 6.x.
Release 1.2.5 - Overlay Fixes
Small release to fix a few issues with the overlay implementation
- Fix typo leading to an overlay timeout
- Better import support for different overlays
Modern Overlay is a new cross-platform overlay that offers improved rendering and font support with active development. Wide adoption may allow improved overlay features in the future.
Release 1.2.4 - Maintenance Release
This is a maintenance release to add support for the new status flags in ED 4.1.0.2.
This fixes an error that can occur when one of these new flags is present in the Status.json.
Release 1.2.3 - Conditional Overlay
This is a small update which will cause the overlay to hide when not in flight.
Release 1.2.2 - QOL Update
This is a small update that nonetheless brings some nice quality of life updates to NavRoute.
Star Class Display
There is now an optional star class display next to any system name in the route list. You can toggle this in the settings.
Reliability
NavRoute will now attempt to reload the route on startup and after any change in the FSD target which isn't in the current route. This should allow NavRoute to load an active route if EDMC is started after the route has been plotted. It should also be able to detect an updated route which EDMC failed to load. Unfortunately, the game fails to update the NavRoute.json if the route is changed quickly so there's not much that can be done to fix that.
Update Display
NavRoute will now notify when a new update has been detected.
Release 1.2.1 - Overlay & Fixes
This update adds basic overlay support as well as a few other small tweaks.
Overlay
The color and position of the overlay can be tweaked in the settings. The overlay must be enabled in the settings.
Other
- Add detection for cleared NavRoute
- Avoid index issues if the NavRoute is empty
Version 1.1 Release
This is a small release which does two main things:
- Add a setting to allow a custom number of displayed jump systems (from 0 to anything you want)
- Modernize the code to bring more parity with recent EDMC releases
Release 1.0
Initial release for NavRoute plugin
- Displays remaining jumps, current, next, and final systems in a NavRoute
- Detects if jumping away from the route and reminds you of the next jump in the route
