Summary

• Update ERPNext to 16.51.1:0, correcting Stock Closing Entry validation/balances and Stock Balance opening filters and ageing calculations.
• Scrutiny tier: Patch (compatible bugfix release). Confirmed the stable upstream tag and published frappe/erpnext:v16.51.1 image for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64.
• Replace release notes in all five locales with this release’s changes and upstream link. No wrapper migration or runtime configuration changes.
• No open Approved issues. @start9labs/start-sdk remains at 3.0.6, matching the published npm version.

Testing

• Passed: helix-build -- npx tsc --noEmit.
• Untested: upgrade an existing install with stock history and Stock Closing Entries to 16.51.1:0; verify database migration completes, login and normal operations work, and filtered Stock Balance opening balances and ageing totals are correct. Check submitted/cancelled closings and regeneration with a later closing present.
• Untested: fresh install on both supported architectures; verify framework/app install progress advances, services become healthy, and Administrator login works. Package build and live testing are deferred to cross-review.

Merge with a merge commit — do not squash. next is long-lived: a merge commit leaves it a true ancestor of master, so it fast-forwards cleanly afterwards. A squash re-lands the same content under a new commit, so the branch is left carrying history master will never contain.

One change needed: the package doesn't build.

• make fails on prettier. npx tsc --noEmit passes, but make erpnext.s9pk stops at s9pk.mk's prettier --check startos. The cause is the new single-line releaseNotes strings in startos/versions/current.ts, which need wrapping. The proposal is just prettier --write on that file. Only the layout changes, not the content. With it applied, make erpnext.s9pk packs cleanly (1.9 GB, both arches).

Checked and fine:

• git merge-tree against origin/master: no conflicts.
• Upstream v16.51.1 is a stable release. Its only change is erpnext#60793 (Stock Closing Entry / Stock Balance), and the release notes describe it accurately in all five locales.
• frappe/erpnext:v16.51.1 is published for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64. Both the v16.51.0 and v16.51.1 images bundle Frappe 16.52.0, so leaving Frappe out of the notes is correct.
• current.ts previously had an empty up, so editing it in place is correct and no new version file is needed.
• The SDK pin of 3.0.6 matches the version on npm.

Not done: install or upgrade on a StartOS VM.
