_This is a rough draft. I’m curious what people think of the content. If there is interest I’ll clean it up and add more. —PDS 9/12/2024_

I’ve been meaning to write this one down forever. I finally found my inspiration listing to The Primeagen discussing “Tom’s a genius” and “JDSL”. We did a lot of impressive stuff back at Tracor, and I’ve always been proud of that work. The Primeagen preaches that Domain Specific Languages (DSL’s) are always a bad idea and never work. I thought people would like to hear a success story. Our DSL didn't just work, it blew people away.

Let me tell you more about this amazing project I worked on. It was the 90’s. I was working for a defense contractor. I was working on support equipment. Imagine an airman on the tarmac anywhere in the world using our software to test or update critical equipment before a mission.
