There is so much still undone. Space unexplored. Diseases uncured. Oceans full of our mistakes. Land we poisoned that we haven't healed. Lives — human and animal — cut shorter than they should be. I've been laid off twice. I'm still here. Still trying to help.
I'm an introvert and a dreamer who spent years building ML systems at Yahoo before the world reminded me that survival and purpose don't always move in sync. I believe technology — when built with integrity and empathy — is one of the few levers we actually have. So I keep building.
Right now I'm focused on a deceptively simple idea: quantifying the physical world so computers can reason about it. I've been asking that question since my final year at university, when I built a spatial scanner from scratch using a stepper motor and a time-of-flight sensor. The tools have changed. The question hasn't.
- Space exploration within reach of more people
- Nuclear-contaminated land restored to life
- Ocean plastic pulled back out
- Diseases we call incurable, cured
- Longer lives — for humans, dogs, and cats
- Global warming slowed by engineering, not just protest
- Microplastics removed from bodies and ecosystems
- Entropy, where possible, reversed
I haven't solved any of these yet. But I think the foundation is spatial intelligence, embodied automation, and tools that help researchers move faster. That's what I'm building toward.
| Project | What it is |
|---|---|
| rtsm | Real-Time Spatio-Semantic Memory. SigLIP embeddings + spatial indexing + MCP interface. A machine that knows where things are and what they mean. |
| rtabmap-zmq-bridge | Bridging RTAB-Map SLAM to modern messaging. Spatial data streams made composable. |
| rtsm-arkit-client | ARKit iOS client feeding live spatial data. H.264 / NV12 / JPEG encoding. |
| environmental-scanner | My university final project — built from first principles. A stepper motor, a time-of-flight sensor, and the question that's driven everything since: can we teach machines to understand the space around them? |
I value integrity and empathy above all else in how we build and who we build for.
