The numbers represent the attempt count for creating each preset. For example, 86 means the 8th attempt with 6 minor adjustments.
The goal of this preset is to give the speaker a more balanced, subtly warm tone with enough headroom for future tweaks.
Important
Do NOT use Dolby IRS alongside this. This preset was actually created to replace the Dolby IRS, so stacking it on top will likely mess with the balance and render the preset useless. (IRS is still fine on earphone presets, though!)
- Environment: Tuned while my laptop was slightly lifted off a thick, high-density paint-coated plywood table. Your mileage may vary depending on your setup.
- Performance: This preset can be a bit heavy. On my ThinkPad T480 (i5-7300U), I occasionally get audio crackling under heavy load. I'd recommend disabling it during CPU-intensive tasks like screen sharing.
- Installation: For the best stability, use the native package of Easy Effects from your distro's repository rather than the Flatpak version.
