🧠 JARVIS Open Source Challenge

Welcome to the JARVIS Open Source Challenge — an open innovation hackathon inspired by Iron Man’s AI assistant.
This is your chance to imagine, design, and build your own version of JARVIS — a system that makes life simpler, smarter, or just plain cooler.

⚙️ What’s the Challenge?

Teams will conceptualize and/or build a unique functionality or feature that JARVIS could perform.

You have to:

  • Code it — create a working prototype, script, or integration.
  • Conceptualize it — design a detailed demo, flow, or simulation showing what your JARVIS can do.

REMEMBER: The goal isn’t just polished code — it’s creativity, innovation, and real-world impact.

🧩 Submission Guidelines

  1. Fork this repository and create a folder with your team name.
  2. Include:
    • A README.md describing your concept or build.
    • Any code, mockups, or presentation materials.
  3. Submit a pull request before the deadline (16th October, 11:59pm).

🏆 Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Creativity & Originality – How bold or novel is your idea?
  • Functionality – Does it work, or could it work with refinement?
  • Impact – Does it solve a real problem or make something meaningfully better?
  • Presentation – How clearly and effectively do you communicate the idea?

🗓️ Timeline

Date Event Details

🚀 Rewards

The winning project will be submitted to MIT’s Open Source Initiative for review and potential inclusion.

⚠️ Note: Submission to MIT's repo does not guarantee selection — but it’s a real opportunity to showcase your work on a global stage.

The TOP TEAMS WIN CASH PRIZES TOO!

🧭 Tips for Teams

  • Think beyond code — voice, vision, prediction, automation, emotion, intuition — what could JARVIS really be?
  • Combine fields: AI, IoT, robotics, UX, even psychology.
  • Keep your repo tidy and your explanation human-readable.
