In order to help with sorting issues by oldest to newest (see adafruit/circuitpython-org#645), it would help to add a days_open field. This is a non-breaking change.
For the pull requests, this will be a bit more complicated and it could be a breaking change if the website isn't updated at the same time. Since it will need to coordinate with a PR on the circuitpython.org site, so I will do that in a separate PR.
