Summary

add progress bars and docstring panels to funky_demo.py
update demo documentation for the rich interface
note demo in the release hardening epic and code review
track the new demo in tasks.yml
replace requirements lock with a simpler setup script
validate tasks.yml against a JSON schema
rank tasks by priority
