Add a runnable example showing how manager-side diagnostics can report recycling failures while checkout still retries successfully. Cover intentional retirement, known-broken object detachment, and cleanup that detaches the object if it fails or is cancelled.
Clarify when recycling checks run and exercise the example through workspace tests. This explores the existing API without introducing new public hooks.
Related to #324.
