Description
Functionality for switching kernels. If scope is defined, otherwise make a list from legacy / current / edge. We might want to limit this further, but not at this time.
Implementation Details
Nothing special. Applied coding style.
Testing Procedure
Several manual tests. Once merged, it has to be tested on exotic variants as we might need to add exceptions.
