Thank you for your suggestion! At this time, we will not be upgrading to Entity Framework 10 because it requires the .NET 10 runtime, and our current target is .NET 8 (LTS) for stability and long-term support. We will update this thread when we are ready to upgrade to .NET 10

Could you share why EF10 is important for your use case? Is it blocking any functionality or feature on your end? Understanding this will help us evaluate future priorities.

Microsoft .NET 8 and EF8 support ends in just a bit more than half a year. .NET 10 has been the new LTS since November 2025. @yanw-bq is .NET 10 and EF10 officially supported by now?

.net 10 is also an lts version. Two issues on the whole repo and they can't update a package reference so that people can't take advantage of the speed and stability fixes in a version that has been released for 5 months.

Thanks for raising this. The team is aligned on the need to migrate the wrapper to .NET 10. While a specific date hasn't been set yet, we are committed to completing the migration before .NET 8 reaches end of support (November 2026). This will also enable support for EF Core 10.x.
