New: Development and evidence page (/docs/development/)

  • The author's path into event triage and the operating problem that started the framework.
  • The AUSPICED precursor, documented from the surviving October 2023 draft: its eight parts, why it failed during writing, and why it never reached use. The redesign table maps all eight parts into the ASSURED structure.
  • An honest account of applied use: around a dozen participants through a supervised workplace learning program, no systematic feedback log during the early teaching, and daily use on the author's own case queue.
  • A plain conflict-of-interest statement: every observation reported so far passed through the framework's author.
  • "What would count against ASSURED": four falsifiable criteria, each naming the observable outcome that would break a specific claim (teachability, phase decomposition, depth ladder, generalization).
  • A validation roadmap with pre-registration-style commitments: the scoring rubric freezes publicly before any pre/post assessment, and at least one scorer comes from outside the program.

Related-work corrections (/docs/positioning/)

  • The universal absence claim is replaced with a narrower, inspectable contribution claim: one open, named, versioned operational workflow for the work between an alert firing and the documented close-or-escalate decision.
  • Investigation Theory and Chris Sanders's public work now lead the training and research section, using his own "vendor-agnostic" wording and citing Creative Choices (2019, with Stef Rand) and The Analyst Mindset (2021 dissertation, Baylor University).

Supporting changes

  • README: version badge corrected to 1.2.0, tagline recast as design intent, author history expanded, and the evidence record linked.
  • Introduction: outcome wording in the framing callout recast as design intent.
  • Build gates: new content contracts pin the corrected AUSPICED expansion, the falsification section, and the dissertation citation, and the build now fails whenever the README version badge disagrees with package.json.
  • CHANGELOG: all of the above recorded under [Unreleased].

Verification

Full gated build passes: 26 content contracts, 14 engineering contracts, contrast and reading-order checks, 82 pages built, 14,390 internal links verified, CSP hashes confirmed.
