# Streamlining podman + bootc interactions

This project aims to address <https://github.com/containers/podman/issues/21243>
in alignment with the <https://github.com/containers/bootc> project.
NOTE: This project is now in maintenance mode, and will be succeeded by
[bcvk](https://github.com/bootc-dev/bcvk). Currently though, bcvk [does not
support MacOS](https://github.com/bootc-dev/bcvk/issues/21) and so MacOS
users should continue to use podman-bootc for now.
