## Development Fund Proposal Submission **Proposal file:** [proposals/yapper-agent-v2.md](https://github.com/zamzasalim/canton-dev-fund/blob/main/proposals/yapper-agent-v2.md) **SIG:** dApp Integration / App Building and Developer Experience **Champion:** Nguyan Vinh, Five North ([@v9n](https://github.com/v9n)) --- ## Summary Yapper Agent ([yapperagent.xyz](https://yapperagent.xyz)) is a live Web3 creator micro-task marketplace serving 15,000+ creators across Southeast Asia, currently paying in USDC on Solana. This proposal funds two complementary initiatives over 6 months: (1) **Canton Coin integration** as a native payment option - the first micro-task marketplace to support CC, backed by existing DAML `JobEscrow` contracts, x402, and MCP agent lanes already live on devnet; and (2) an **Indonesia Creator & Builder Roadshow** - a 4–5 city event series co-organized with established local Web3 communities, combining meetups, Canton workshops, mini hackathons with CC prize pools, and creator-builder panels. Summary
Yapper Agent (yapperagent.xyz) is Canton Network's first Learn, Work & Earn platform - open-source infrastructure where creators, builders, and contributors can learn about Canton, work on real tasks and bounties, and earn CC for their contributions.
Just as Canton Payment Streams is the reference implementation for payment streaming, Yapper Agent is the reference implementation for task, bounty, and quest systems on Canton - delivering reusable DAML smart contract templates, a TypeScript SDK, a reproducible demo environment, and a live reference implementation, all published under Apache 2.0.
The platform is already live with 15,000+ community members and 850+ real creators onboarded within 1 week of launch. The first campaign is already live with OneSwap, and many Canton projects are already requesting campaigns. This proposal requests 400,000 CC across 3 milestones over 6 months to build and open-source the task & bounty infrastructure layer that Canton currently lacks - producing 500+ active CC wallets, 1,000+ on-chain jobs, and a fully open-source developer toolkit by Month 6.
